Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: June 21, 2026Website: ylnk.cc

1. Agreement and Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of yLnk, including our URL shortener, QR code tools, LinkFolio pages, analytics, APIs, dashboards, public redirect pages, verification tools, integrations, and related services.

yLnk is built and operated from Bangladesh and offered globally. If mandatory consumer, privacy, platform, online safety, or digital services laws in your country give you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are not limited by these Terms.

2. Eligibility, Accounts, and Security

  • You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country or region.
  • If you use yLnk for a company, client, organization, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity.
  • You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by yLnk failing to use reasonable security measures.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

3. Services and Changes

yLnk provides software tools for creating, managing, routing, verifying, analyzing, and sharing short links, QR codes, public pages, campaigns, and related digital content.

Features may vary by plan, region, device, availability, legal requirements, security needs, and abuse-prevention requirements. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

4. Acceptable Use and DSA Illegal Content Rules

You must not use yLnk to create, publish, route, host, promote, automate, or distribute content or activity that:

  • Violates applicable law, sanctions, court orders, platform rules, or third-party rights.
  • Contains or links to phishing, malware, credential theft, deceptive login pages, spam, fraud, scams, or unauthorized tracking.
  • Infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, trade secrets, or other intellectual property or personal rights.
  • Promotes child sexual abuse material, terrorism, illegal goods or services, violence, exploitation, hate, harassment, non-consensual intimate content, or severe harm.
  • Misrepresents identity, affiliation, destination, offer, pricing, consent, or the nature of a link, QR code, or public page.
  • Bypasses security, rate limits, abuse detection, authentication, billing controls, sanctions controls, or technical restrictions.
  • Scrapes, probes, reverse engineers, overloads, disrupts, or interferes with yLnk infrastructure or other users.

5. Notice-and-Action, Trusted Flaggers, and Appeals

For EU Digital Services Act purposes, yLnk may operate as an intermediary service for certain user-created links, redirects, and public pages. We provide mechanisms to report illegal or unsafe content and may remove, restrict, warn, disable, or suspend content or accounts when legally required or when content violates these Terms.

Notices should identify the specific URL, short link, QR code, LinkFolio page, custom-domain URL, or API-related resource; explain why the content is illegal or violates these Terms; identify the applicable law or right where possible; include contact details; and include a good-faith statement.

Reports from trusted flaggers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or competent authorities may receive priority where required by law. We may preserve evidence, restrict distribution, disable monetization, warn visitors, block redirects, or remove content while a report is reviewed.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may notify affected users of restrictions and provide reasons and an appeal path. We may act without prior notice for urgent security, phishing, malware, child safety, fraud, legal, sanctions, or serious harm concerns.

7. API Usage

  • API keys and tokens must be kept confidential and used only for authorized applications.
  • You must comply with published documentation, rate limits, fair-use limits, abuse-prevention rules, endpoint restrictions, authentication rules, and data-retention limits.
  • You must not use the API for spam, credential stuffing, mass abuse, illegal scraping, security probing, malware distribution, unauthorized resale, privacy-invasive tracking, or attempts to bypass yLnk safety checks.
  • You are responsible for your application, end users, API requests, link destinations, data processing, consent notices, and compliance with privacy, advertising, consumer, and platform rules.
  • We may throttle, suspend, rotate, revoke, require re-verification, or limit API access for security, abuse, non-payment, excessive load, degraded performance, legal risk, or policy violations.

8. Branded Links and Custom Domains

  • You are responsible for domain ownership, DNS configuration, renewals, trademark clearance, destination legality, and third-party platform rules.
  • You must not connect domains that infringe trademarks, impersonate others, mislead users, or facilitate unlawful activity.
  • You are responsible for maintaining registrar access, DNS records, SSL-related requirements, domain renewals, email or website continuity, and any custom-domain disclosures required for your users.
  • DNS propagation, registrar issues, certificate issuance, CAA records, third-party CDN conflicts, and external domain renewals may be outside yLnk control.
  • We may disable or refuse domains that create legal, security, phishing, malware, abuse, sanctions, infringement, or brand-confusion risks.

9. User Content, Public Destinations, and License

You retain ownership of content you create or upload through yLnk. You are responsible for ensuring that your links, QR codes, LinkFolio pages, campaigns, assets, destinations, and instructions are lawful and do not violate these Terms.

You grant yLnk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, route, display, transmit, process, format, and use your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, improve, and enforce the service.

10. Analytics, Tracking, and Privacy Duties

yLnk may provide analytics such as clicks, scans, referrers, approximate location, devices, campaign parameters, and conversion-related data. You must use analytics lawfully.

If you are a business customer, you are responsible for privacy notices, cookie notices, consent, opt-outs, data subject rights, advertising rules, and other compliance obligations related to your own use of yLnk.

11. Plans, Payments, Taxes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Paid features may require subscription, setup, usage, domain, theme, or add-on fees. Fees are billed in advance or as shown at checkout, invoice, or plan terms.

You authorize yLnk and its payment providers to charge applicable fees, taxes, and renewals using your selected payment method. You are responsible for taxes, duties, bank fees, and currency conversion fees unless stated otherwise.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.

12. Consumer Rights and Digital Services

If you are an EU/EEA, UK, or other consumer with mandatory withdrawal, refund, cancellation, or digital content rights, those rights continue to apply. Where legally permitted, a cooling-off or withdrawal right may not apply or may be lost once digital services are fully performed, immediately provided, or accessed after your express request or consent.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived.

13. Enforcement, Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

We may investigate, restrict, suspend, disable, remove, throttle, block, or terminate links, accounts, domains, QR codes, API access, public pages, or content when we believe there is a violation of these Terms, law, security rules, third-party rights, or service integrity requirements.

You may stop using yLnk at any time and may request account deletion through the account deletion page. Certain data may be retained where required for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

14. yLnk Intellectual Property

The yLnk service, software, design, brand, logos, documentation, templates, APIs, and platform technology are owned by yLnk or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of yLnk intellectual property. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, frame, modify, or create derivative services from yLnk except as expressly allowed by us or applicable law.

15. Warranties, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, and availability except where such disclaimers are not allowed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, yLnk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or third-party conduct. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

16. Force Majeure, Assignment, Severability, and Entire Agreement

  • We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including outages, war, disasters, strikes, legal restrictions, provider failures, cyberattacks, or internet failures.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets.
  • If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect.
  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, plan terms, and incorporated policies form the entire agreement for your use of yLnk.

17. Governing Law, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, except where mandatory laws in your country or region require otherwise. Courts in Bangladesh will have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer or local law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact yLnk and allow a reasonable opportunity for informal resolution, except where urgent injunctive relief, regulatory rights, or mandatory law allows otherwise.

Where legally permitted, disputes may be resolved by binding individual arbitration if your plan, invoice, or separate agreement adopts arbitration. Where legally permitted, you and yLnk waive the right to participate in class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceedings. This clause does not limit non-waivable consumer, employment, data protection, or platform rights.

18. Jurisdiction-Specific Provisions

  • EU/EEA users: nothing in these Terms limits rights under mandatory EU consumer law, GDPR, the Digital Services Act, or other non-waivable EU rules.
  • UK users: nothing in these Terms limits rights under mandatory UK consumer, data protection, or online safety rules.
  • US users: state-specific privacy, consumer, unfair competition, subscription renewal, and accessibility rights may apply where mandatory.
  • Consumers globally: if mandatory local law gives you stronger rights than these Terms, the mandatory local rule controls only to the extent required.
  • Business users: if you use yLnk for a company, client, agency, or organization, you are responsible for ensuring your own compliance with applicable advertising, privacy, consumer, and platform rules.

19. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated date and, where required, additional notice. Questions, notices, abuse reports, legal concerns, or DSA-related requests may be sent to [email protected].
